Yesterday was the funeral, which was very busy.. a lot of people came to say farewell to Aad. The chapel in which we had the service was filled with people, with a lot of them having to stand during the service.
It has been a heartwarming experience to see all the attention his passing has generated, and this forum also reflects this in all the responses in this thread
So thanks for the replies, and also for Hans' pictures which immedeately had my mom and sister grabbing for the cleenex box.. very moving indeed.
The recent days have been weird, with all human emotions following from one moment to the next. So we're going to take a little rest from all the activities now, and kindof try to pick up our lives again.
